Meet Rosco, he is a Second Chance Chi Rescue located in Salt Lake City, Utah. When Rosco was surrendered to us his owner had informed us that He had been attacked by their bigger dog for his dog food.
The also told us that when they first got Rosco they were told that he was also attacked by a pit bull in his younger days which has left Rosco terrified of bigger dogs. For this reason, Rosco will have to be placed in a home with small breed dogs only. Other than being afraid of big dogs Rosco is a wonderful dog. He likes people, small breed dogs. (NO CHILDREN) Rosco would be a great dog for an older retired couple that could spend some time with him.
It does take Rosco some time to warm up to people do to him being frightened and attacked by big dogs but when he comes around he is a wonderful and sweet dog.
