This page lists information for current fosters. If you are an approved or current foster for Second Chance Chi Rescue you have received a login and password to view this page. You will only be able to view this page once logged in.

You may change your password once you login to your account for the first time and is recommended that you do so you will have access to the approved foster information as this page will be updated frequently.

Vetting Guide For Fosters

  • All vetting of any dog you foster will be done before you receive the dog. When you receive the dog all medical issues the dog may have will be discussed with you before you take the dog.
  • The dog may come to you with prescriptions for any illness the dog may have. It is up to you the foster to make sure these dogs get their medications that are given to you when receiving the dog. (No Exceptions or Excuses)
  • If the dog become sick or injured while in foster because of negligence on the fosters part, all vet related cost are to be paid by the foster.
  • If it is found the dog may need some training, Second Chance Chi Rescue will cover these charges but must be approved by Second Chance Chi Rescue before charges are incurred.
  • When you received the dog to foster you also received emergency contacts for all four of our directors. In case of an emergency contact one of them for assistance with what to do. If this is a life threatening situation and it is a matter of life or death for the dog, Take it to the vet and contact one of the directors once the dog is being taken care of.
  • ((IMPORTANT!!)) ANY EXPENSES IN REGARDS TO FOSTER DOGS, EX: VETTING/TRAINING/BOARDING ETC., MUST BE APPROVED BY Second Chance Chi Rescue Before any payments for such services are made. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY JEOPARDIZE REIMBURSEMENT OF ANY AND ALL FUNDS.
